Are your kids ready for summer vacation? Summer's not quite here, and things are winding down at school. Don't worry - Your kids don't have to spend their weekends being bored! Saturday Science this June is all about having "Fun in the Sun." Every Saturday this month, your kids will participate in a different summer activity. Saturday Science classes are free with donation ($5 family) from $12-3 p.m., unless otherwise noted.
- June 6, 2009 - "It's a String Thing"
Come join "Yoyo Guy" Mr. Pulham as he shows us some cool yoyo tricks! He'll be giving away prizes and doing some fun interactive games, too! This class is from 12-2 p.m.
- June 13, 2009 - "Bubbles!"
Have a fun time while learning with our bubble class! We'll learn about how to make bubbles, their shapes, and some cool properties of water.
You'll even get to make a bubble big enough to fit your your head!

Learn about water, sand, and tide pool animals in this fun class! We'll make some sand art and starfish paint prints, then kick off our shoes and run through the sprinklers!
- June 27, 2009 - "Heat Wave"
Learn more about that blazing sun over our heads in our sun class! We'll use energy from the sun to do some cooking and find out more about how our seasons work!
