Greetings valley heat lovers. Is it only me that likes a hot day or two as an excuse to kick back? My wife is from Wisconsin, where a blizzard will keep you in for a day or two. When it's this hot, I like to find the coolest place in the house to pick up that book I've been trying to finish. Hope you are finishing yours.

We thank Tina Smith, Trustee who put this all together. We are sometimes amazed at Tina's energy and it encourages us all. Her new perspective and ability to recognize opportunities are what new blood coming to the Board of Trustees is all about. We are in search of such new blood and commitment for our Board. If you feel you have a calling or interest in The Discovery Center as a Board Member please contact us in some way.

We are looking forward to using these new methods of communicating and will be learning how best to provide current content and communication with it. I have a Facebook account and recently was asked to be a friend to the daughter of my best friend from childhood. Its great to be in touch with someone I have missed for 30 years. My best friend and I had 'instant' communication between our homes using war-surplus, sound-powered phones! We've come a long way. We look forward to hearing from you, too.
