"Meet Us On the Farm for Nature Kids this October..."

Bring your Nature Kids this Wednesday...

Are your toddlers curious about the world outdoors? We've got the perfect place for them to learn, play, and explore in a safe environment! Wednesdays at The Discovery Center are all about your Nature Kids! Toddler classes are from 10 - 11 a.m. Your first Nature Kids class is free, then only $20 to join us for the entire month. Here's what your Scien-tots have to look forward to during our "On the Farm" theme this October:

  • October 7, 2009 - "Winter on the Farm"
    Come with your little one and find out what the animals do during the winter! See what animals sleep all winter and how the animals stay warm.

  • October 14, 2009 - "Spring on the Farm"
    See what babies are born during the spring and what they do. Do they walk right away or do they stay home for awhile? Also see what crops are blooming on the farm.

  • October 21, 2009 - "Summer on the Farm"
    Your children will learn about what is getting ready to be picked, as well as what the farm needs to get ready for winter!

  • October 28, 2009 - "Fall on the Farm"
    Bring your little person to learn about the harvest season! We will plant some pumpkin seeds and talk about different colored leaves the trees will be dropping.
