"Saturday Science: Explore Space With Us This January..."

Are your kids curious about space?

What's the most effective way for your kids to learn about science? There's something missing from all those overhead lessons and textbooks that would really make those science concepts stick. It's hands-on learning of course! Visit us every weekend for Saturday Science, where your kids will have such a good time, they won't know they're learning! Saturday Science classes are just $5 for the whole family and start as 12 p.m., 1 p.m., and 2 p.m.

  • January 9, 2010 - "The Discovery"
Come learn about space. This week we will be learning about The Discovery mission. What was the mission about? We will be making our own shuttles to take home.
  • January 16, 2010 - "The Mars Rover"
We will learn about the mission to mars. Come and see what our feed from NASA has to say about the trip. We will be sending off little rockets made here.
  • January 23, 2010 - "Gemini"
Come visit our Gemini 2 space capsule here at The Discovery Center. We will explore the capsule and learn all about what it was used for. We will also make our own Geminis to take home.
