Mission Statement
An educational science center offering children an outdoor hands-on learning experience to stimulate passion, curiosity and wonder for the environment and physical sciences.

The Discovery Center Teaches the Sciences to Children
We deliver science successfully to hundreds of children each year in a variety of ways, including field trips, camps, outreach, birthday parties, and more.

The Discovery Center is free to the public, but donations are greatly appreciated.

Rule Number 1 is "Touch, touch, touch!"
Our science center is very unique, as we encourage children to use all their senses in learning new science concepts. The Discovery Center brings classroom lessons to life, making science fun through hands-on activities that get kids excited about learning.

Everything We Do is Focused on Making Science Fun
We believe that science should be an engaging subject for children, offering magic, exploration, and excitement. When taught correctly, it's fun. Children can see it, they can build it, they can hear it, and they can even taste it.

At The Discovery Center, imaginations are free to run wild, as are your children. Whether they are digging in our Dino Dig Site, learning about space in our StarLab, or fishing for creatures in our Walden Pond, your children will find something exciting at The Discovery Center.
